the 30th of January and the 30th Day of 2023. Today, let’s look at the 4 REASONS WHY YOU SIMPLY CAN NOT GIVE UP.
It is said that nothing good comes easy so just imagine how challenging it will be when you are onto something great. The sacrifices you will have to make, the sleepless nights, the early rises, the disappointments, the desperation, the anxieties, the fears, the excitements that sometimes seem short lived, the people you have to deal with and the constant evolution you need to go through with the changing times and conditions.
The pursuit of any dream, passion or ambition is characterized by obstacles and it is anything but easy. When you decide to pursue paths less charted, you should be well aware that it will literally take everything in you to succeed. You will have several reasons to give up especially when other paths seem easy and readily available to you but these are the 4 reasons why you simply can not give up.
1. YOU OWE IT TO YOURSELF – Paths less traveled are uncertain and lonely and without the will power and constant motivation, you are likely to give up. When you truly believe you are onto something great, be fully aware that you owe your success to yourself and no one else. Being successful in your pursuit is first a gift to yourself before the rest of the world.
2. YOU ARE LEAVING FOOTPRINTS IN THE SANDS OF TIME – The greatest gift, I believe, you can leave for humanity and posterity is being tremendously successful in whatever you set your mind to do. For in your success are valuable lessons and inspiration that others will use to fast track their own success and continue to inspire others. Your footprints in the sands of time will be the guide to so many known and unknown to you in and beyond your life time.
3. YOU ARE PROTECTING YOUR NAME & INTEGRITY – Most of us are giving names at birth and beyond the meaning of those names, we spend our lives adding or taking away value from that name. Whatever we do gets associated with our names and when we give up on our pursuit and dreams; we become like the builder of the tower who did not complete it and was ridiculed by everyone in Luke 14:28-30.
4. YOU ARE ACCOUNTABLE TO GOD – We are all on earth, not by our choice but by a divine Will for a divine purpose and when we find that purpose, we pursue it with everything we have not necessarily because we always want to but we are fully aware that some day we will give account of it. If you are not sure what your purpose is; just do what Ecclesiastes 9:10 says; Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work or device or knowledge or wisdom in the grave where you are going.
