YOUR RELATIONSHIP WILL END IN TEARS (Part one).
Love is a beautiful thing and those who find it, enjoy the treasures within. Unfortunately many have had bitter encounters with ‘love’ that have left them wounded, hurt, broken, bitter, vengeful, unforgiving and depressed. Some have even resolved never to fall in love again.
Today we are looking at 3 out of the 10 Ways to predict if your relationship is going no where and it’s likely to leave you hurt and heartbroken. It is worth noting that those who get hurt the most in a failed relationship are the ones who invested the most in the relationship; investment of love, money, affection, attention, intimacy, sacrifices, time and so much more.
Here we go…
1. IF YOU KEEP GIVING AND HARDLY RECEIVE: Love is an action word and those who say they have it, show it. You need to be careful if you find yourself always being the one giving in the relationship and hardly receiving. Giving love, attention, affection, provision, gifts etc. You are always the one who remembers their birthday and get them gifts but they always forget yours and get you nothing even when they remember.
2. IF THEY DON’T SEE YOU OR ALWAYS TRYING TO CHANGE YOU: If the person you are with doesn’t see you, doesn’t pay attention to you, doesn’t value you, doesn’t accept you for who you are, compares you with others, tries to change you to suit their preferences, complains about you, criticizes you consistently and is unhappy with you, you should advice yourself; they may be with you but desiring someone else.
3. IF THEY ARE NOT TRUE TO THEIR WORDS: To know a person, don’t just listen to them, check their actions and if their actions are inconsistent with their words, be careful. When they don’t do what they say they will do on a consistent basis but keep coming up with excuses and apologizing sometimes; it is a sign worth nothing and being careful about. It shows that they can not be trusted and without trust, there is no lasting & blissful relationship.
