Nana Esi Idun-Arkhurst is the Divisional Director of Retail Banking at Fidelity Bank Ghana Limited. She handles strategy and leads the team to address the financial needs of diverse customer segments within Retail and Business Banking. She has led the transformation of the business into a dominant one, meeting the needs of customers through strong value propositions, innovative products,effective operating models and strategic partnerships. With 20 years of experience in Banking, Nana Esi has expertise in SME Financing, Financial Inclusion, Wealth Management, Bancassurance and Digital Transformation. She is an Independent Non-Executive Director and Board Chair of Sanlam Life Insurance Ghana Limited. Prior to joining Fidelity Bank in 2016, Nana Esi worked with Standard Chartered Bank for 13 years where she worked in different roles across markets and headed various units. She holds a BSc. in Chemical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an MBA from The University of Edinburgh Business School in Scotland, where she was a Chevening Scholar as well as the school’s 25th Anniversary Scholar. She has certificates in Tech contracts and Global Banking Program in Fintech/ Digital/ Analytics from the Columbia Business School.

Dr. Abena Tannor is a dedicated Family Physician and specialist in Sports, Exercise, and Rehabilitation Medicine with over 16 years of experience. She pioneered the first multi-disciplinary rehabilitation medicine service in Ghana, significantly improving the function, independence, and quality of life for individuals with functioning difficulties. Drawing on her training and experience from the institutions in the USA, U.K and Ghana, Dr. Tannor has successfully developed a sustainable rehabilitation service in Ghana. Currently, a consultant for the WHO Rehabilitation Program, she also lectures part-time on disability and rehabilitation at KNUST and leads the Sports, Exercise, and Rehabilitation Medicine fellowship program under the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons. She has a proven track record in research and in developing curricula, protocols and training manuals.

Wendoline Owusua Asiedu-Twum

Wendoline Owusua Asiedu-Twum is a Senior Specialist Ophthalmologist with over 10 years of experience in both medical and surgical ophthalmology. Her career is marked by a resolute focus on improving eye health, advocating for vision care education, and addressing the needs of underserved communities through outreach and research. Based in Accra, Ghana, Wendoline has consistently contributed to the field of ophthalmology, both in clinical practice and through leadership roles. She has participated in several medical and surgical outreaches in Ghana, Kenya, and Zambia. Wendoline is the recipient of the prestigious Health Awards & Honours 2023 by the Thyroid Ghana Foundation, where she was recognized as the Best Medical Director of the Year. As a Commonwealth Fellow in Oculoplasty from the Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute & Hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh, she has expanded her expertise in specialized areas of ophthalmology, further enhancing her contributions to patient care. With her foundational medical training at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) and advanced studies in Ophthalmology from the University of Nairobi, Kenya, Wendoline has built a career dedicated to excellence in ophthalmic services, particularly surgical treatment of eye disorders. She currently serves as a Senior Specialist Ophthalmologist at Greater Accra Regional Hospital. Previously, she held the position of Medical Director at Emmanuel Eye and Medical Centre, where she assumed leadership and mentoring roles for ophthalmology residents, guiding the next generation of eye care professionals. In addition to her clinical work, Wendoline is the Founder of Hopeful Sights Foundation, a non- governmental organization dedicated to improving eye health, combating vision impairment and blindness, and promoting educational initiatives. Through her foundation, she strives to provide accessible ophthalmic care and support to underserved communities in Ghana. Her professional interests include ocular health education, especially glaucoma awareness, medical and surgical ophthalmic community outreach, and vision rehabilitation using assistive technology. Wendoline’s passion for her work is driven by her belief that “Good vision is one of an individual's greatest assets and should never be needlessly lost”. She enjoys traveling and exploring different parts of the world with her family, playing lawn tennis, and reading novels.
